Zepherella Enhances Web-based PatientPay Service with 'Instant Integration'

Zepherella has enhanced its PatientPay service by incorporating an “Instant Integration” capability. A medical group’s Practice Management System or PMS can now be quickly incorporated with a web-based patient payment processing service in an affordable and simplified manner.

Zepherella’s patented technology, utilized for “Instant Integration” is a business process, which allows a rapid, simplified and dependable connection with any existing PMS. Zepherella’s patented technology is being termed as a considerable progress in the computerization of healthcare practices in the US.

In a release, Tom Furr, CEO of Zepherella said, “PatientPay’s patented integration capability is Zepherella’s latest example of its commitment to bring the healthcare transaction cost down by leveraging automation through the existing healthcare payment infrastructure. With it we have eliminated the cost of manual back-end processing that’s required by all other out-of-pocket payment vendors.”

He added, “We are thrilled to offer PMS vendors and revenue cycle management companies’ virtually instant access to our cost-effective service for their clients. PatientPay permits seamless patient payment data posting and offers a better payment experience for patients.”

A few mouse clicks are required to connect the PatientPay service, which incurs no installation expenses or constant monthly fees, to any PMS, resulting in a hassle free experience for the customer. As compared to the expenses and time involved while incorporating an IT group, medical practices will appreciate the advantages of this service instantaneously. The expenses for handling conventional paper invoice are reduced by nearly half for a $100 payment with the automated payment procedure of PatientPay.

As per the McKinsey & Co. report titled, “Overhauling the U.S. Health Care Payment System”, processing a health care transaction can cost around 15 percent, but the cost of processing a transaction in the U.S. retail sector is only around 2 to 3 percent.

Zepherella has developed unique solutions for healthcare payment services, especially for paperless billing and electronic payment processing, thereby assisting in decreasing the entire expenses of patient billing. The physical and error-prone back-end attempt for processing paper bills or payments made on conventional online portals can now be avoided with the safe, cloud-based PatientPay service, resulting in decreased costs.
