M-Files Launches Cloud Vault 2.0

M-Files, provider of document management solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, is bringing its cloud knowledge to the enterprise content management field with a new product called the Cloud Vault 2.0.

The product contains a number of enhancements over its 1st iteration, including a unique hybrid cloud configuration, improved back-up and recovery capabilities, a gaping 100 TB cloud storage capacity and a convenient single sign-on solution that integrates with Active Directory.

Cloud Vault 2.0 is another example of powerful enterprise computing solutions available to small and medium sized companies. According to Greg Milliken (News - Alert), president of M-Files Inc., “Cloud Vault 2.0 represents an important step forward in making enterprise content management accessible to any business.”

This power-to-the-people trend seems like it is here to stay.

M-Files claims Cloud Vault 2.0 is the first enterprise content management system to run natively on Windows Azure, empowering smaller businesses to use Microsoft’s (News - Alert) highly scalable and reliable cloud-based platform and geographically distributed data centers. The ease of cloud-based file sharing is guarded with professional grade security in the Cloud Vault 2.0, making it a realistic solution for companies with high level data security concerns.

A new “point in time” recovery system is featured in Cloud Vault 2.0, strengthening its data recovery and backup restoration options further than virtually any other similar system on the market.

There are also dramatic gains in efficiency throughout the system from its version 1 release. Users of version 1 like AstraZenecca, Tupperware, EADS (News - Alert), Tupperware and Flybe Airlines ought to find the upgrade relatively painless, while new features will likely draw new users away from other competitors. M-Files has its eye on the global market with its products now available in 24 different languages. For more information, visit the M-files blog.
