Path Solutions partners with DocuWare for document management solution

Path Solutions, a chief provider of technology solutions, consulting and outsourcing services for the Islamic finance industry, signed a partnership deal with ITEC Image Technologies. The agreement authorized and licensed representative of DocuWare software products to deliver document management system solutions to banks and financial institutions.

DocuWare is an international company offering Integrated Document Management Systems (IDMS) solutions. ITEC Image Technologies has been providing latest technologies in e-Document and e-Process solutions to commercial and governmental clients in the Arab world for more than 20 years.

"We are proud to welcome ITEC Image Technologies in our partner ecosystem,” Mohammed Kateeb, group chairman and CEO at Path Solutions, said in a press release. “This partnership is a big step to enhance and extend the value of integrated technology. This solution will help banks address their day-to-day challenges in managing and organizing all documents electronically and to cater more closely to the demands of customers."

DocuWare document management system software will now enable Path Solutions' clients to manage, monitor and search their documents electronically in an optimized and efficient way. Clients can now store, share and manage both paper and electronic documents such as correspondences, records, e-mail, MS Office, spool files and many others from a centralized document pool.

Mohamad Ameer Al Dirini, executive manager at ITEC Image Technologies believes this partnership will enable the company to target a strategic growth area and offer Islamic banks the latest technologies in document management.

Dirini holds that ITEC’s solution, combined with Path Solutions' offering, will yield a very high return on investment and create value for the organization.

In November 2011, Path Solutions announced its alliance with Beirut-based telecommunications solutions provider Apliman (News - Alert) Technologies to build on PS' mobile banking capabilities and integrate AT's phone banking services for banks' customer relationship management.
