Nexsan Partners with Redstor

In the modern day world, information is everywhere, stored in every conceivable digital format. As a result, companies of all sizes face increasing pressure to efficiently store all the data, documents, images, emails and other kinds of content that form the core of their businesses. Catering to their needs, Nexsan has partnered with Redstor to provide on-premise and cloud-based storage solutions.

Through this partnership, Redstor’s cloud backup infrastructure and solutions portfolio will be integrated with Nexsan E60 storage systems. The Nexsan E60 is a member of the Flexible Storage Platform and is a next-generation, high-density and energy-efficient storage system. According to the company, this product overtakes the previous products by offering a storage solution that accommodates 60 disks.

“We are delighted to be working alongside Redstor,” said Andy Hill, vice president of Sales for Europe & Africa at Nexsan. “With its offsite data backup, Redstor has pioneered innovations for cloud-based data protection for customers in the education field as well as other key verticals. Furthermore, we are pleased that they have chosen to partner with Nexsan to provide our products for on-premise storage as well. Nexsan embraces its continued support for Redstor.”

Redstor provides various online Cloud Storage Services which offer easy to use, business-grade storage, accessed over the Internet or a secure dedicated link. Allowing clients to pay only for the storage they use, storage scales up and down to any capacity, the company stated in a press release.

Recently, the company entered into a technology alliance partnership with Veeam Software, a provider of data protection, disaster recovery and management solutions for virtual datacenter environments.

Both companies will now offer storage, backup and replication solutions, facilitating highly scalable, advanced data protection, which is ideal for hypervisor-independent cloud computing. Nexsan E-Series SAN and E5000 NAS storage systems were recently tested with Veeam Backup & Replication v6 by openBench Labs.
