Emerson Network Power Starts 2012 on a Great Note

Emerson Network Power (News - Alert), a global provider in protecting and optimizing critical infrastructure, won two awards for its data center infrastructure innovations in China. The China Data Center Industry Development Federation and the China Financial Science & Technology organization gave the two awards, the 2011 Excellent Data Center Infrastructure Management Solution Award, and the 2011 Excellent Financial Industry Data Center Infrastructure Management Solution, to Emerson respectively. Both awards are a reflection of Emerson’s contribution of technologies and services data and capacity in China’s growing financial industry.

Emerson network power does not plan to stop its success anytime soon, as last week it demonstrated an AdvancedTCA (News - Alert) (ATCA)-based telecom server blade that will enable network operators to consolidate their workload, offering cost and efficiency benefits through faster network security. The server blade will facilitate workload and operating expenses while expanding network capacity to handle consumer demand for multimedia and other content rich data that users access on their mobile devices.

As a global network solutions provider, Emerson Network Power also gives out its own annual award for best solution provider. This year, Emerson named ePlus as its 2011 U.S. Solution Provider of the Year. ePlus has worked closely with Emerson Network Power to develop new management solutions for customer environments, supporting business continuity or disaster recovery, and power and cooling needs. Overall, ePlus allows Emerson customers to maximize cost savings by transforming IT from its traditional cost center to a business enabler.

Emerson has continued to bring technology and engineering together each year by providing the newest solutions for customers in industrial, commercial and consumer markets around the world. As 2012 enters the end of its first quarter, it seems like the provider has more products to offer that will continue to change the world.
