OfficeDrop's Digital Filing Cabinet Used by 100,000 Users

OfficeDrop recently announced that it has touched the 100,000 user mark for its cloud filing cabinet software. The company confirmed that it had touched the 50,000 users mark in November 2012, achieving an incredible growth rate of a 100 percent increase in users who prefer to store their paper in OfficeDrop’s searchable cloud, in just three months.

In a release, Prasad Thammineni, CEO of OfficeDrop said, “OfficeDrop has found our niche market of small businesses in paper-intensive industries who want to search and store their documents in the cloud. There are a lot of them out there, and they find that our solution addresses their need to find the documents they need quickly, wherever they may be. Our strategy in 2012 is to expand our reach to even more small business users through strategic OEM partnerships and the continued adoption of our innovative smartphone and tablet apps.”

OfficeDrop has entered into OEM relationships with several companies, which has helped the company contact several small businesses. Nuance’s (News - Alert) PaperPort software for scanners is well known around the world. OfficeDrop’s collaboration with Nuance last year, offers users the ability to start their scanners and use PaperPort Anywhere to automatically connect to OfficeDrop’s cloud filing cabinet technology.

In the future, OfficeDrop is expected to enter into many more OEM relationships for offering custom designed industry-specific applications, thereby setting the momentum for OfficeDrop’s expansion.

OfficeDrop’s cloud filing cabinet software helps organizations to create a protected, dependable connection to the cloud. An increasing number of small businesses have selected OfficeDrop’s cloud filing cabinet software as it can easily scan documents and also store over 25 file types in the cloud.

OfficeDrop has scheduled a session titled “When Goliath Tries to Steal Your Lunch Money” on Saturday, March 10. Interested individuals and companies can visit OfficeDrop’s website for further details.

In other news, going paperless has never been this easy. With OfficeDrop announcing the first ever social document service, ScanDrop for Mac, users now have an opportunity to give dead paper documents that simply sit in filing cabinets new life, easily and quickly without the hassles of tedious paper dealings.
