Tensoft's Cloud-based Offerings Increase Growth Rate by 24 Percent in 2011

Tensoft recently announced that they had a substantial growth rate of 24 percent in annual billings for calendar year 2011. The key contributing force behind these impressive results is mainly because of the recurring revenue derived from its Cloud-based offerings. The company specializes in revenue management, supply chain solution and is also an ERP SaaS (News - Alert) provider for the IT industry.

Additionally, the company announced a substantial increase in its customer base through its expanded portfolio of Cloud-based service offerings. Tensoft’s service offerings were also recognized with a number of awards and certifications. The company made the announcement amid a general slowing down of business and revenue generation across the industry for a number of other providers.

In a release, Tensoft President and CEO Bob Scarborough said that, “Having hosted applications since 2005, Tensoft made a concerted company decision to re-energize its web native software strategy on Cloud-based offerings during the trough of the recession in 2009 when it was unpopular to make tough investment choices. As a result, we are now more than two years ahead of a number of our competitors and enjoying double digit SaaS billings growth.”

The company’s Revenue Cycle Management software was also awarded the Certified for Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics accreditation recognition in the same year. Tensoft also replaced a number of competitors’ customer sites with its own applications and was successful in achieving the gold level in the Microsoft Partner Network ERP competency.

Tensoft also hosted the Momentum 2011, which is the sixth annual user conference for global customers of Tensoft’s Fabless Semiconductor Management offering and its CEO, Bob Scarborough, spoke at GSA (News - Alert) Semiconductor Ecosystem Summit. Among other recognitions, the Tensoft High Tech Dashboard (HTD) product featured among the top 15 most useful add-ons across the globe which supports the Microsoft Dynamics GP business solution.

Tensoft also sponsored eight CPE-eligible webcasts and training courses specifically designed for professionals form the software and high tech industry. The company also established strategic partnerships with a number of leading advisory firms to drive its revenue management applications across the industry. In 2011, the Tensoft Cloud data center operations managed to maintain SAS (News - Alert) 70 certification and ISO 27001 registration.
