North American Communications and Media Provider Selects Attunity Stream

Attunity (News - Alert) Ltd., a global provider of real-time data integration software, reportedly signed a million dollar agreement with a North American communications and media provider for Attunity Stream solution, a change data capture (CDC) product.

Attunity Stream is a log-based, real-time CDC software platform that captures and delivers only the changes made to enterprise data sources, operational and transaction systems, allowing the users to eliminate their batch windows, which are required to move data altogether.

The solution has been designed to deliver low-latency streaming of changed data for reporting or data warehousing, reducing the overall processing time and increasing the efficiency of their operations.

By constantly streaming the data, rather than carrying out batch processing, critical business events can be detected in near real-time with Attunity Stream.

The new client is going to utilize the Attunity Stream solution to modernize its mission-critical cabling business system, Attunity clarified in a press release.

The customer has recently expanded its cable service offering by introducing video-on-demand service and a new customer interface for online customer account management. By leveraging Attunity Stream, the Customer will be able to support new cable services, improve customer service, and enable better decision support, the officials at Attunity explained in the release.

In December 2011, Attunity announced  that one of the world’s largest banks selected Attunity s content replication suite, an approximately $0.5 million enterprise licensing agreement, to be implemented throughout its application development and production datacenter infrastructure.
