Strategic Networks Group Makes Use of Birst's Agile Analytics for Superior Insights

Birst (News - Alert), Inc. recently announced that Strategic Networks Group (SNG) was helping its clients increase the benefits they were receiving as a result of their broadband investments, with a cutting edge solution built based on Birst's business intelligence (BI) technology.

The simple, online solution titled Digital Economy Analytics Platform (DEAP), has its basis in data from SNG's Digital Economy Database, a proprietary dataset of research from international sources that makes available unique insight into the impacts of broadband utilization.

In a release, Michael Curri, president and CEO of Strategic Networks Group said, “With this new solution from SNG, regional leaders can identify and leverage the best practices from each region and industry across their territories. Unmatched in its depth and breadth, DEAP helps our clients to uncover actionable information and insights. With Birst's functionality, we're able to protect our valuable data assets by providing information to only authorized users, sharing results without revealing the data they're based upon, limiting access to competitive intelligence and maintaining the confidentiality of our respondents. These capabilities are all show-stoppers; we couldn't have moved forward without them.”

SNG comprises of a group of broadband economists that create strategies to help businesses, communities as well as regions and states make better use of their broadband investments. Before developing DEAP, SNG would send a report of its findings and recommendations to clients in an extremely detailed manner with static reports consisting of over 100 pages.

Clients asked additional questions that needed basic tools to produce additional reports, in a tedious process. Because of this, it carried on its efforts to create an online solution that would change this process of reporting and give clients easier access to information and analysis

Brad Peters, CEO of Birst said, “By creating solutions based on Birst's BI technology, organizations are able to maximize the value of their existing data resources, quickly bringing to market products and services that drive revenue and enhance customer satisfaction. At Birst, we build, maintain and constantly work to add new, cutting-edge capabilities to our agile BI technology so that our partners and customers don't have to. We focus on BI so that they can focus on building their businesses.”
