KPN's Hosting and Cloud Data Center Services to be Powered by Radware's ADC-VX

The Radware (News - Alert) ADC-VX has been deemed as the ideal choice by KPN to cater to its requirement for an application delivery controller (ADC (News - Alert)) solution that can deliver isolated environments and dedicated resources for each customer and KPN has deployed the ADC-VX to power its hosting and cloud data center services for business applications.

The Radware ADC-VX is stated to be the first ever Application Delivery Controller (ADC) Hypervisor that runs multiple virtual ADC instances on a dedicated ADC hardware. Companies can deploy the solution to consolidate their ADC hardware devices without compromising resiliency or performance predictability of their ADC services which in turn brings down hardware costs and operational expenses.

KPN, an ICT service-provider in the Netherlands, stated that it will be able to abide by its customer service level agreements (SLA) and at the same time acquire the swiftness to deliver cloud services in evolving environments with the help of Radware ADC-VX.

By providing this unique isolation architecture that is similar to dedicated physical ADC devices, Radware ADC-VX eliminates the risks involved with consolidation and physical to virtual (P2V) migration and KPN (News - Alert) can seamlessly add more dedicated, isolated instances with each new customer without having to install additional hardware.

Radware asserted that providing KPN with a new ADC virtualization solution is a natural fit to its virtual and cloud data center design because it enables them to offer ADC services with a desired cost per customer thanks to its density of virtual ADC instances on its devices.

Moreover, the ADC-VX solution benefits from Radware’s OnDemand strategy, which will allow KPN to host additional customers just by upgrading the software license on the ADC-VX devices and without a forklift upgrade of the hardware.

“Enterprises of all sizes are increasingly looking for ways to leverage hosting and cloud services, and Radware’s ability to meet this market need by offering a cost-effective, future-proof solution is a strength that truly sets us apart from the competition,” said Andre van Buiten, sales manager Netherlands at Radware, in a press release.
