Cisco TelePresence and Video collaboration solutions provide a realistic experience with superior video and audio. Partners can meet across a virtual table giving them a same-room experience, even if they are located in different locations across the globe.
According to Richard McLeod, senior director of Collaboration for Worldwide Channels at Cisco, the ATP status will enable PC Connection to exploit the advantages available in the telepresence and the overall collaboration market.
Hence, partners can market Telepresence (News - Alert) Video endpoints, providing not only managed video-conferencing services but also the comprehensive suite of infrastructure solutions.
Tim McGrath, president and CEO of PC Connection, said in a press release, “PC Connection is excited about the opportunity to add Cisco TelePresence Video to our extensive portfolio of voice and video solution offerings.”
PC Connection is also a Cisco Gold Certified Partner and according to company officials, has achieved the “highest level of credibility and the broadest range of expertise across multiple technologies.” Therefore, it can access in-depth sales, technical, and lifecycle services training and support available from Cisco.
In other news, Cisco announced that it will resell Citrix Xen Desktop as part of an integrated desktop virtualization solution based on the Cisco Unified Computing system. This integrated desktop solution simplifies the deployment of high-definition virtual desktops and applications to all users across the enterprise.
