- Alert) recently announced that its Tenor, VX Series, and UX Series range of products have successfully achieved Microsoft (News
- Alert) Qualifications in seven different applications under the Unified Communications Open Interoperability Program (UCOIP).
Designed specifically for enterprise telephone services and infrastructure offerings, the UCOIP qualification program makes sure that the customer’s experiences with respect to setup, support, and use of certified telephony infrastructure and services are in sync with the Microsoft unified communications software which also includes the Lync Server and Exchange Server.
To achieve Microsoft qualifications, products are put through a series of rigorous and extensive tests which establishes their reliability and capabilities in keeping with certain specifications and pre-defined test plans.
In a release, Kevin Isacks, chief development officer of NET, said that, “Achieving product certifications is a key driver to our sales strategy and the pursuit of new market opportunities for us. I believe that today, NET (News
- Alert) has the broadest product portfolio qualified under Microsoft's UCOIP for Lync Server 2010 and Office365. Continued interoperability with the Microsoft Lync environment is a significant milestone in our development process.”
He added, “When you consider the widespread deployments of our installed base, today's announcement demonstrates this important commitment to our partners and customers worldwide.”
Recent Microsoft certifications earned by the company were for its Tenor, VX Series, and UX Series of products which were qualified under seven different applications. The company is expecting many more qualifications in the future.
Included among the recent qualifications were the Tenor DX, a Basic gateway for Microsoft Lync, the VX Series which features SBC for Office 365 and the UX Series - UX2000 which feature the Microsoft Lync Enhanced Gateway (News
- Alert) and the Microsoft Lync SBA. The UX Series - UX1000 feature the Microsoft Lync Enhanced Gateway, the Microsoft Lync SBA, and the Microsoft Lync SBC.
