According to officials from Signiant, the software will help Ubisoft ensure safer and well-managed file transfers. Also, the compatibility of these software with Windows and Linux will also make it ideal for Ubisoft’s heterogeneous environment.

“Meeting time-to-market targets is a huge factor in our industry, as well as ensuring the security of our intellectual property,” said Arnaud Reuziault, IT project manager at Ubisoft. “We are confident in relying on Signiant software to help safeguard electronic delivery of our assets. Furthermore, being compatible with Windows and Linux platforms is a huge plus in our heterogeneous environment.”

“The fact that Ubisoft, one of the world’s most recognized international game developers, chose Signiant for such an important task is a milestone for our company,” said Ian Hamilton, CTO and vice president of development at Signiant. “As a leader in today’s entertainment and media industry, we are honored they have chosen to place their trust in Signiant to accelerate and manage the secure exchange of their intellectual property.”

Signiant recently announced that tpc (technology and production center switzerland ag) has built a value-added service incorporating Signiant Media Manager
