Infortrend Tips The Scale on Multi-Dimensional Storage Solutions to Meet Market Demand

Infortrend, a global provider of network storage, just announced a new approach for 2012 regarding changes in the market, particularly in the domain of cloud-based services. Infortrend's vision hopes to take care of a need for higher efficiency through storage mediums and cloud-ready storage. It wants in this year to focus on upgrading its hardware to make its products more appealing to prospective customers.

Today's market makes a lot of demands on storage companies, hoping for efficiency and durability. Many companies are now migrating to the cloud, and with the advent of cheap storage, we're well on our way to centrally hosted databases. In these trying times (financially speaking), we're seeing more companies attempt to get rid of their on-site resources and employ the help of other companies that will help them get a better return on investment (ROI) with centralized hosting services without having to have an IT staff on board.

Infortrend offers some highly unique features in this department, particularly data deduplication and automated storage tiering. All the features this company offers already have a significant impact in storage efficiency and meeting the demands of very power-hungry customers.

Now, on top of all that, we have seen a strong presence of cloud-based services that have had a snowball effect in the tech industry. These cloud services enlist the help of data storage companies that offer special features along with central management capabilities, lower-cost storage, and power efficiency. Infortrend seems confident that it will meet the ever-increasing demands of a “cloud culture” emerging into the stratosphere of our technological world.

To keep its word, Infortrend is going to upgrade its own hardware within its ESVA and EonStor DS product lines this year. EonStor DS G7 just recently launched and gives customers the power of 5,500 MBps reading speed and 3,000 MBps writing speed, hopefully quenching the thirst that cloud services have. SAS (News - Alert) host connectivity is coming soon in EonStor DS G7.
