Motorola Debuts Rugged DS3500-ER Scanners

Motorola (News - Alert) has debuted its brand new, rugged DS3500-ER series of full-range scanners that come packed with the company’s maximum rugged specifications and are capable of scanning barcodes across a wide range of distances for warehouse management and other applications in harsh industrial environments.

With the ability to quickly scan barcodes in both darkly lit areas and bright sunlight, the scanners allow users to hold down the trigger to continuously scan items. The new solution’s scan distance ranges from as close as one inch to 31 feet and removes the need to employ multiple devices. The scanners are fit for asset management, inventory management, picking, traceability, shipping and receiving applications in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants or warehouse-style retail stores.
