Ipanema Positioned in 'Visionaries' Quadrant

Ipanema (News - Alert) Technologies, a company specializing in WAN Governance solutions for enterprise networks and application-centric VPN services, recently announced in a press release that Gartner (News - Alert) has positioned the company in the “Visionaries” quadrant of the Gartner 2012 “Magic Quadrant for WAN Optimization Controllers.”

The officials from Ipanema said a prime reason behind the company getting a place in the “Visionaries” quadrant is its new Autonomic Networking System that turns any VPN into a cloud-ready network. The solution helps the companies reduce IT cost, while ensuring performance.

“Ipanema is at the forefront of innovation delivering WAN optimization solutions,” said Thierry Grenot, Executive VP of Ipanema Technologies, in a statement. “We believe being recognized as a visionary company in the quadrant is a significant proof point of Ipanema’s ability to anticipate enterprises’ IT and business needs. The explosion of data combined with the rapid expansion of cloud computing, Unified Communications (News - Alert) and hybrid networks is shifting application delivery requirements toward more visibility, control and application SLAs. Ipanema empowers enterprise’ networks with the intelligence and the automation that is necessary to guarantee that each user of business critical applications gets the performance they require, anytime.”

Recently, Ipanema partnered with COMPUTERLINKS, global distributor of Internet security products and services. The agreement strengthens Computerlinks (News - Alert) network management offering in Australia and means that VARs can sell and access Ipanema Technologies' leading solutions with the confidence and support offered by a tier 1 distributor. For Ipanema Technologies, the agreement is central to its recently announced Ipanema Advantage Partner Programme (IAPP) which provides for two levels of certification enabling VARs to drive initial and on-going revenue from the provision of WAN Governance services. Computerlinks expects the partnership to drive attractive margins, which will be reinvested, back into the partnership to help support resellers engaging in Ipanema Technologies deals.
