General Dynamics Gets IT Support Contract for the DISA Omnibus Network Enterprise Program

General Dynamics (News - Alert) was recently contracted by the U.S. Department of Defense's Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide information technology (IT) services as part of the support system for the Omnibus Network Enterprise (ONE) program. All nine awardees of this contract have a potential value earnings of $476 million within this five-year, multiple-award, indefinite delivery and quantity contract.

In a release, Zannie Smith, Senior Vice President of the National and Homeland Security Division for General Dynamics Information Technology, said, "General Dynamics is honored to be part of this program. We look forward to providing critical information technology services to the agencies that leverage this DISA contract to improve efficiencies and deliver on their missions."

General Dynamics One Source (News - Alert) to whom this contract was given to is made up of General Dynamics Information Technology and General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems as well as General Dynamics C4 Systems (News - Alert). The company will now go on to make available IT services and support to numerous U.S. government customers through task orders that will be issued under this contract. This support with cover the entire gamut of telecommunications and information technology needs.
