Iron Bow Wins New Certification and a Renewal from Cisco

Iron Bow Technologies, a technology solutions provider and value-added reseller for the private and public sector clients has earned an advanced certification, the Managed Services Advanced Channel Partner (News - Alert) certification, from networking giant Cisco Systems. This qualifies Iron Bow for selling and delivering Cisco-based Managed Services.

Iron Bow’s advanced managed services offerings are aimed at helping customers increase operational efficiency, drive productivity and lower costs. According to Rene LaVigne, president and CEO of Iron Bow, many organizations – both in public and private sectors – are looking for trusted partners that can provide monitoring and support for their IT infrastructures.

Being a Cisco (News - Alert) Managed Services Advanced Channel Partner, the company is now able to remotely manage and maintain its customers’ systems so that they can focus more on their core business.

In a press release, Iron Bow said that in order to earn the certification, the company has invested in a network operations center (NOC (News - Alert)) that would leverage Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation processes, practices and tools to deliver its services. These tools enable Iron Bow to support advanced Cisco technologies across all stages of the lifecycle, including: preparation, planning, design, implementation, operations and optimization.

In addition to Managed Services Advanced Channel Partner certification, Iron Bow also received their renewal as a Cisco Master Unified Communications (News - Alert) Specialized Partner.

This certification recognizes Iron Bow’s expertise in deploying Cisco’s entire portfolio of unified communications solutions, including: contact center, unified messaging, rich media, mobility and TelePresence solutions.

In order to maintain this certification, Iron Bow had to undergo rigorous evaluation process, the company further revealed.

“Cisco’s unified communications solutions continue to revolutionize the way enterprises and government entities collaborate. A renewal of this certification demonstrates Iron Bow’s ability to implement integrated unified communications solutions that can help customers increase operational efficiency, drive productivity and lower costs,” LaVigne noted in a statement.

Recently, Iron Bow announced that its suspension and inclusion on the Excluded Parties Listing System has been withdrawn by the U.S. Air Force effective November 22, 2011. This enabled the company to resume its new business efforts with all federal agencies.
