Localized Version of Nimsoft Service Desk Embraces IT Paradigm Shifts

With the release of the first localized version of Nimsoft (News - Alert) Service Desk Software as a Service, Nimsoft provides a service management solution for modern IT that will help manage and resolve IT issues with SaaS (News - Alert) tools.

The latest version, according to company officials, will help Nimsoft customers increase the performance of their IT environments and also reduce the overall cost of IT operations. It provides action-based workflows that help coordinate all aspects of service delivery, thus increasing customer satisfaction.

A component of Nimsoft Unified Manager, Nimsoft Service Desk can also leverage the information collected by Nimsoft Monitor. This, the company stated, will help operators speed ticket resolution and provide better quality service both faster and cheaper.

As emerging enterprises in Latin America and Asia increasingly adopted the cloud, the demand for SaaS solutions that enabled effective management of the cloud and traditional IT environments also increased. In addition to Nimsoft Service Desk, many of these customers also use Nimsoft Monitor, the other core component in the Nimsoft Unified Manager solution.

With nearly a third of the growing Nimsoft Service Desk customer base located in Latin America and Asia, Chris O'Malley, CEO at Nimsoft, noted that the increased demand in these regions had prompted Nimsoft to develop a localized version of its solution that didn't require technicians to work in English.

A Brazilian service provider noted that having Nimsoft Service Desk available in Portuguese will be a benefit and a competitive differentiator in many cases as it would enable them to communicate with customers in their own language.
