WhiteHat Security Unveils Sentinel Baseline Edition Enterprise

Offering Web security reporting and vulnerability management to protect corporate and customer data, WhiteHat Security has announced WhiteHat Sentinel Baseline Edition (BE) Enterprise.

Without impacting a Web application's performance, Sentinel BE Enterprise can scan and assess thousands of websites simultaneously as it is built to scale. Based on a SaaS (News - Alert) platform, WhiteHat Sentinel and allows companies to manage website security through a single  platform with an unlimited number of user licenses. WhiteHat's Threat Research Center (TRC) experts conduct on-demand verification of all vulnerabilities when discovered, the company stated in a press release.

“Web application security is increasingly important for companies of all sizes, and identifying websites along with their risk is the first step toward a solid security program that ultimately saves companies money," said Ravi Iyer, vice president of product management, WhiteHat Security. "By offering Sentinel BE Enterprise, WhiteHat streamlines the website inventory process and helps companies prioritize Web security, bringing security initiatives in-line with business results.”

Recently, the company announced it has added the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) to WhiteHat Sentinel, its SaaS web security service.
