Along with announcing the appointment of industry veteran Mandeep Khera as executive vice president and chief marketing officer, LogLogic highlighted the achievements the company made in 2011.
LogLogic specializes in providing log and security intelligence platform (LSIP) for the enterprise and cloud. The company was able to enhance its log and security intelligence solutions which resulted in more customer satisfaction.
In a release Guy Churchward, CEO of LogLogic said, “The rampant growth of Big Data across industries and on all continents has created an unprecedented challenge for enterprises – namely, to use that data not only for strong forensics and regulatory compliance, but also for real-time operational intelligence.”
Company sources revealed that it achieved an increase of 26 percent in bookings and also saw an aggregate figure of one exabyte or 1,024 petabytes of IT data under management. The company gained the reputation of being the first log and security intelligence provider that can deliver systems capable of collecting IT data from more than 1 million IT devices.
LogLogic is also able to cater to the demands of enterprise-class handling of Big Data by offering optimum scalability and performance. The data ingestion rates and data search rates are very high compared to other offerings, said officials.
These capabilities have made the company a preferred provider for large service providers and enterprises depending on the cloud.
LogLogic provides support for VMware-certified log and security intelligence offerings used by enterprises, managed service providers, and cloud service providers. It also optimizes management of Windows-based systems serving more than 250,000 deployments with its Lasso Enterprise Windows log collector. These capabilities have helped the company get a foothold in Latin America also, added officials.
Churchward added, “More than 50 percent of IT staffers across industries cite log management as a linchpin in meeting those objectives. While many competitive solutions claim to provide log management, most lose steam the moment the data being managed by those solutions grows to even a few terabytes.”
In 2011 LogLogic helped enterprises by offering a comprehensive, highly scalable toolset that is required to meet the Big Data challenge faced by them in IT operations, security, and compliance.
In September 2011, LogLogic announced an increase in the collection capabilities of its Universal Collection Framework (UCF), the world’s only WAN-aware store-and-forward technology.
