CyberSource Attains Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle's ATG Commerce Suite 10

CyberSource has announced that its Payment Management Services has completed Oracle (News - Alert) Validated Integration with Oracle’s ATG Commerce Suite 10. This enables Oracle’s ATG customers to quickly adopt CyberSource’s payment management services, and this means they can get to market faster with lesser costs.

CyberSource is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Visa and a gold-level member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN). Through this integration, CyberSource will be able to offer better services, some of which include global payment services for worldwide transactions including global tax calculation services, providing fraud management services as well as payment tokenization services to protect payment data.

Carolyn Brackett, CyberSource's vice president, channels and alliances, said in a statement, “This announcement highlights the latest in a long history of technical and business collaboration with Oracle's ATG (News - Alert) Commerce group.”

She added, “Oracle's ATG Commerce Suite is broadly recognized as one of the leading commerce platforms, worldwide. We are pleased to be a trusted component of this premier commerce solution.”

Oracle Validated Integration through the Oracle PartnerNetwork tells customers that the integration of the partner software products has been validated. Achieving this integration involves is a rigorous technical process as well as meeting the requirements as set by the customers.

Echoing the importance of the integration, Kevin O'Brien, senior director, ISV and SaaS (News - Alert) Strategy, Oracle, said, “Achieving Oracle Validated Integration through Oracle PartnerNetwork gives our customers confidence that the integration between CyberSource Payment Management Services and Oracle ATG's Commerce Suite 10 has been validated, and that the products work together as designed. This reduces risk and improves the implementation cycle for our joint customers.”

In related news, Netsuite, a provider of cloud-based financials/ERP software suites, has recently expanded its SuitePayments online payment capabilities by partnering with SecurePay for Australian payment gateway services and CyberSource. This is a conscious step by NetSuite (News - Alert) to welcome e-commerce and retail companies in Australia to move their entire business to embrace its cloud technologies.
