Mendix Releases Version 3.0 of Agile Business Platform

Version 3.0 of the Mendix Agile (News - Alert) Business Platform has been released. The full agile application lifecycle management process has been simplified in the new release. This will ensure that enterprise applications will be developed, deployed and managed rapidly in the cloud. An announcement in this regard has been made by the top provider of enterprise class platform-as-a-service or PaaS, Mendix.

The Mendix Agile Business Platform has more than 20,000 users across the globe. Enterprise applications can be developed and deployed with this complete solution. As compared to traditional development, five to ten times faster development is experienced by Mendix customers. Apart from bridging the gap between business and IT, time-to-market is also decreased by Mendix.

Mendix’s agile solution further delivers on its speed and flexibility with version 3.0. The deployment and management of multiple Mendix applications is simplified. Application performance and activity can be monitored with a centralized, cloud-based Management Dashboard. Regardless of where the application is running, complete control over the cloud application landscape now lies with IT departments.

Teams ranging from a single developer up to team distributed globally can be now supported with the cloud-based Team Server included in the new version. Development teams can collaborate on the same project with the Team Server. Several new features like advanced version control and structured release management are also provided to the developers.
