NuMobile's Stonewall Networks Develops New LinkedIn Support Group for Xidget

NuMobile announced that its subsidiary, Stonewall Networks, has created a LinkedIn (News - Alert) support group for its newly released open source Xidget toolset to enhance end-user experience. This support group will mainly concentrate on user to user support and will be monitored by Stonewall's development staff to aid in the promotion of the toolset.

Xidget is produced by Stonewall as a toolset that utilizes a subset of XML during the development phase of Stonewall's core product Cornerstone. It is a fragment of the eXtensible Markup Language commonly referred to as XML. XML is a simplified version of browser language that can be used in certain programs, and specifically on the Internet, for creating a tagging schema that allows elements of a web page to be marked according to their content rather than their format.

This new toolset is used to handle graphical calls at the user level to and from the internet which accomplishes quick and flexible changes to the program consuming the Xidget scripts. The other enhancements are inclusive of improving the time needed during the design and development life cycle. Stonewall is also working to have Xidget become a World Wide Web Consortium (W3C (News - Alert)) standard.

NuMobile was recently in news when it posted a Webcast to its corporate website www.numobileinc.com that provides an update on key stakeholders meetings conducted in China last week. The meetings were conducted to take next steps toward acquiring an original design manufacturing (ODM) company based in Shenzhen, with approximately $22 million in annual revenue. The Company recently announced entering into a letter of intent (LOI) to acquire the ODM operation. During the meetings, stakeholders also evaluated an additional strategic acquisition opportunity in the region, as well as focused on steps to establish an international sales organization and engage an international accounting firm.
