Avtex to Offer Microsoft Tellme Integrated Voice Response (IVR) Service

By combining Internet data with a powerful speech interface, the Microsoft Tellme (News - Alert) IVR Service enhances task completion and customer service performance for businesses in more than two billion calls each year.

Avtex asserted that the cloud-based speech self-service IVR from Microsoft Tellme, will be part of its solutions portfolio. The IVR will be offered as standalone or integrated with other communication and collaboration technology solutions such as contact center, CRM, unified communications, infrastructure, notification and application development.

The Tellme IVR ensures seamless upgrade by supporting open standards, from VoiceXML (News - Alert) (VXML) and HTTP to the latest, high-quality SRGS and SISR grammars with tools that users already possess. Also, the IVR is ultra-reliable, extraordinarily fast, and scales to one’s needs.
