Vordel and Oracle Collaborate for SOA Deployments

Vordel (News - Alert), a provider of gateways for SOA and Cloud Computing, announced collaboration with Oracle. According to the agreement, Vordel and Oracle will help joint customers gain flexibility in their SOA production and development environments to increase scalability and cost efficiencies.

Vordel, with Oracle (News - Alert), will roll out new products in Oracle’s Identity Management and Fusion Middleware suites. The collaboration will help large enterprises and Government institutions boost their systems’ and applications’ performance, while maintaining a protected environment for the applications in their SOA networks.

Vic Morris, CEO at Vordel stated, “Oracle’s decision to work with Vordel is a strong endorsement of the company’s innovative approach to protecting SOA environments. This is a complementary relationship between two leading players in their respective fields who have joined forces to offer customers an excellent solution.”

“From a business perspective, the announcement opens up the Vordel technology to Oracle’s global presence and enables Vordel to broaden its global footprint. Vordel is looking forward to supporting Oracle as they advance gateway products globally,” Morris added.

Amit Jasuja, Vice-President, Development Identity Management at Oracle comments, “Through the technology relationship with Vordel, Oracle can offer its customers additional levels of SOA security, performance and integration to complement their existing Oracle Identity Management and Oracle Fusion Middleware portfolios.”

Vordel is a Platinum member of Oracle Partner Network. Also, Vordel is a strategic technology partner for Oracle. Vordel Gateway (News - Alert) is a key component of the Oracle Fusion Middleware reference architecture. Vordel has worked closely with Oracle to offer the most complete and robust integrations to, Oracle SOA Governance, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Applications, Oracle Database, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Solaris, and VM, and Oracle hardware.
