New Scribe Online Program Introduced for Microsoft ISVs

Microsoft (News - Alert) independent software vendors or ISVs can now avail a new Scribe Online program. Applications can be developed and moved to the Windows Azure platform by Microsoft ISVs. Data across public and private clouds can be now integrated quickly and easily by Microsoft ISVs with Scribe Online. An announcement in this regard has been made by the global data integration provider, Scribe Software (News - Alert).

The power of Windows Azure and SQL Azure is now combined by the solution with Scribe's proven data integration capabilities. Apart from maximizing the speed, the solution will also help the developer maximize cost effectiveness of cloud computing applications on Windows Azure.

Select participants are taking part in the current pilot of the ISV program. Early access to new releases of the Scribe Online data integration platform will be provided to Scribe’s partners. The program will also offer direct access to Scribe's product management and product development teams. Scribe partners will be provided co-marketing opportunities. The ISV’s solutions will be also promoted on Scribe’s Web site through this program.

In a release, Peter Chase, EVP of business development and a founder of Scribe said, "We know that .NET (News - Alert) developers want to work in Windows Azure, we know that connecting public to private clouds is essential, and we know that customers want to manage their data without investing in additional servers or systems staff".

Chase added that these are the reasons for creating Scribe Online. All these capabilities will be now provided to all Scribe partners. This will allow them to integrate applications on Windows Azure easily.

The expertise into Windows Azure has been extended with Scribe Online's collaborative, global integration of .NET applications

Doug Hauger, GM for Windows Azure at Microsoft Corp. said, "Data integration tools provide a significant benefit to ISVs and developers who are creating applications on the Windows Azure platform with SQL Azure. We are pleased that Scribe is offering native services for the Windows Azure platform to help customers integrate applications across on-premise and cloud environments."
