Keith Nealon Joins M5 Networks as Chief Revenue Officer

M5 Networks, the major player in business phone systems, has appointed the software-as-a-service industry veteran Keith Nealon as the company’s new chief revenue officer. He will be based at M5's New York City headquarters.

In his new role, Nealon will be responsible for M5's direct and channel sales, as well as the company's marketing and customer success organizations.

“Keith Nealon brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the industry to our executive team,” said Dan Hoffman (News - Alert), CEO of M5 Networks, in a press release. “We are certain that our sales and marketing teams will benefit greatly from his insights and leadership.”

With more than 20 years of strategy, sales, and marketing experience, Nealon will help M5 Networks to achieve its set targets.

He has grown several SaaS (News - Alert) companies to market leadership positions, including Eloqua, a marketing automation platform.

Prior to Eloqua, Nealon held various sales leadership positions at Navisite, Inc., and helped to increase the company's revenues from $30 million to $125 million in three years prior to its acquisition by Time Warner (News - Alert) Cable.

Nealon has also co-founded and served as CEO of Nebula Technologies, an award-winning international systems integration and consulting firm. He experienced an average of 50 percent year-over-year growth up until its 2002 sale.

“I have been extremely impressed with M5's cloud-based communications technology,” Nealon said. “The leadership's commitment to quality, reliability, and customer service is unparalleled in the industry, and has understandably fueled their impressive growth as a business. I am excited to join the M5 team and look forward to playing an important role as we continue our mission to help companies optimize their businesses with our voice-as-a-service platform.”

In related news, M5 Networks and SWK Technologies, Inc. have announced the integration of M5Connect Computer Telephony API, or CTI (News - Alert), with SageCRM solutions.
