Micralyne Partnership to Boost Production and Marketing of MEMS Devices

A strategic partnership between Micralyne Inc., one of the largest independent MEMS foundries and A.M. Fitzgerald & Associates, a MEMS product development firm, will help customers to market high quality MEMS devices quickly and efficiently.

The combination of experience in the manufacture of MEMS devices and expertise in MEMS design and prototyping services is expected to offer companies a one-stop solution for producing high quality devices in greater volumes.

In a press release, Nancy Fares, CEO of Micralyne noting that navigating the MEMS ecosystem could prove challenging for those who wanted to enter the commercial phase said, “In many cases, they are strong conceptually with an in-depth understanding of the problems addressed by their specific application but may not have experience in MEMS design or manufacturing.”

Fares also noted that the strategic partnership allowed them to collectively 'divide and conquer' and also enabled both customer and Micralyne to focus on what each did best.
