Diskeeper Improves IT Performance at Salvage Firm

Diskeeper, an innovator in IT performance and reliability technologies, announced that Logicx, a rapidly growing salvage company with over 300 employees in Holland, has benefited from the deployment of Diskeeper on its servers.

Fortune 1000 and Forbes 500 enterprises rely on Diskeeper performance software to provide unparalleled performance and reliability to their business laptops, desktops and servers, according to company officials.

Diskeeper 2011 includes the breakthrough IntelliWrite fragmentation prevention technology. V-locity 2.0 virtual platform disk optimizer for VMware ESX and Hyper-V eliminates the barriers to full virtual efficiency and maximum I/O performance on virtual servers.

Logicx installed the solution mostly on HP Proliants 380 and 360’s servers and also on a 4TB HP EVA 4000 SAN.

Peter Landman, ICT Manager for Logicx, said, “Since I am a long-time Diskeeper user (as far back as the ’80s), it was the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw that we had fragmentation problems. It is software which I was certain would solve my problems.”

Landman said they were ignorant about the possible fragmentation issues. Even after using the Windows built-in tool for several months, the problem persisted. When they noticed that it was costing too much performance, they installed Diskeeper.

With its IntelliWrite technology, Diskeeper addressed the problems, thus greatly improving the disk performance (especially the volumes on HP EVA 4000).

In a related announcement, Diskeeper said its performance software has won over 2000 awards to date. The latest edition, Diskeeper 2011, continues in the tradition of innovation evidenced by being widely embraced by users far and wide.
