Enteracloud Joins Websense Partner Program to Enhance Network Security

Enteracloud Solutions a provider of cloud based services for small businesses announced that it has joined the Websense (News - Alert) Partner Program. The company specializes in business-to-business co-location, Internet, hosted voice, and managed data services.

In a release Tim Doscher, chief architect, Enteracloud Solution said, “Websense already leads the content security software market.”

“Everybody else is providing a portfolio of point products. Only Websense made a four-year investment to build a platform that truly unifies and consolidates Web security, email security and DLP in a way that is greater than the sum of its parts and reduces costs,” Doscher added.

The importance of a partner program like Websense lies in the fact that there is an urgent need to enhance network security in organizations to thwart hacking attempts in the present scenario of borderless organizations, social media, small business cloud computing, WikiLeaks, tablets and smartphones. Standard security products seem to be no match for new blended security threats like Aurora, Zeus and so on.

As there are no network perimeters or standard endpoints to secure Websense can effectively enhance security by identifying, classifying and understanding content in various forms and wherever it travels in order to protect it from attack, theft and misuse. The Websense TRITON solution can remove threats and risks and allows organizations to benefit from rich internet applications, SaaS (News - Alert), social media and mobility, safely and securely, explained officials.

Enteracloud uses the TRITON solution by packaging it as a cloud based solution for small businesses as they are forced to build their infrastructure slowly owing to cost constraints. Enteracloud is currently testing TRITON as a plug-in for the Enteracloud Cloud Adapter for Small Businesses.

The TRITON architecture is a modular system using which customers can expand coverage and services as their needs grow. It also offers support for Websense Web Security on the V-Series appliance which is imperative for existing Websense Web Filter customers. Web Filter customers can now enjoy better security, consolidation and expandability to other TRITON services.
