Circadence Receives Two Additional Patents in Network Optimization

Circadence, a provider of WAN optimization solutions, has been awarded two additional patents in network optimization bringing its tally of issued patents to 20 and the company added that issuance of several additional patents are also pending.

US patent numbers 7,962,654 and 7,975,066 “System and Method for Implementing Application Functionality within a Network Infrastructure” were allotted to Circadence.

The company claimed that it helps enterprises maximize infrastructures with advanced solutions for optimizing, managing and monitoring network performance for faster smarter and more cost-effective IT. The Circadence MVO optimization solutions are capable of achieving maximum network performance, from edge to edge, so that enterprises can maintain lasting business success. By dynamically adjusting data-send rates in real time to increase application throughput and reduce lost and resent packets, the solutions can offer incredible speed, network availability, and data security.

The company explained that the new patents awarded to it are an extension of patents it had already received for improving connections from a remote client to hosted content or applications. Its newly patented technology can be used to systematically calculate the best rate at which data can be streamed and configure the rate of data accordingly to network availability. This is done by realizing the real-time network conditions between client and content and handling multiple protocols.

Officials with the company exclaimed that the latest patents broaden their WAN optimization intellectual property portfolio, now including a system for transporting data through limited bandwidth networks, essential for any mobile application that demands high quality network performance. These patent approvals once again demonstrate Circadence’s commitment to provide public and private organizations with state-of-the-art technology to optimize and manage network infrastructure.

The company added that at the heart of all Circadence optimization solutions is a patented optimization protocol. Built on the same fundamental building block as all IP communications, its algorithm dynamically captures and analyzes network conditions and ensures data is transmitted without manual configuration or intervention. This hardware-independent approach tunnels through the heaviest network congestion from point to point, so no switch provisioning is needed.
