Relevant Security Corp., a security solutions provider, announced it engaged Telcordia (News - Alert), a provider of IP, wireline, and mobile telecom software and services, to provide an analysis of the Real Privacy Management (RPM) method.
It is a significant development for Relevant Security as the Telcordia review considers cryptographic properties and assumptions of the RPM method and it pertains to the RPM algorithmic primitives, as well as system of integrated RPM components in a security architecture.
The analysis would also consider the strengths and weaknesses of RPM resulting in Summary and Detailed reports of Telcordia's Cryptography Assessment of Relevant Security’s RPM System. Relevant Security is offering the summary and detailed reports.
“We are pleased to have worked with Telcordia and their team as they conducted an unbiased analysis of the RPM security method,” said Greg Byles, CEO of Relevant Security, in a statement. “We look forward to sharing the results of the cryptographic analysis with our customers and partners as they review RPM in more detail.”
Relevant Security provides RPM technology offering continuous transaction authentication and security for data and electronic communications. The RPM technology delivers scalability by utilizing small code size and computational efficiency, which solves the performance and security issues associated with applications.
Recently, Relevant Security announced that it has been included in the Gartner “Cool Vendors in Data and Infrastructure Protection 2010” report. The recognition was given for the use of the patented RPM technology in OEM network management equipment, with the Android (News - Alert) mobile applications, installed on virtual server environments.
