dynaTrace Software Driven to Keep Ahead of Competition

In this competitive marketplace, younger companies often struggle to compete with the industry giants.

Don’t consider dynaTrace Software part of that group.

The five-year-old company, specializing in Application Performance Management, boasts a patented PurePath technology providing an accurate and detailed view of application behavior.

Blair Drenner, VP of Business Development at dynaTrace, sat down with TMC (News - Alert) CEO Rich Tehrani, to discuss dynaTrace’s history, how it stays competitive in the performance management industry, and more particularly, how dynaTrace is finding success by staying ahead of the curve technologically.

“The tier one vendors, although they have most of the market share because they have longevity, a lot of them aren’t addressing the needs and the problems of the market today,” explained Drenner. “We actually entered as the next generation APM (News - Alert) vendor before some of the other next generation APM vendors, so we’re kind of in this wonderful niche where we’re a little bit ahead of the curve addressing the new problems the cloud introduces, Web 2.0, and other complexities in the environment.”
