Total Quality Logistics Expands its Service to Dayton

Total Quality Logistics (TQL), well recognized as the 4th largest third-party logistics brokerage in the U.S., is all set to start its service in Dayton. The company said it is currently hiring for its Dayton satellite office.

TQL is planning to open the new office in September 2011. With this launch, the company will be stepping into its sixth new office launch in 2011.

Dayton is the 6th largest city in the. state of Ohio. The city is involved in several significant industrial, aerospace and technological/engineering research activities and is known for the many technical innovations and inventions. Also, it is home to the University of Dayton Research Institute which ranks second in the nation for sponsored research.

"We have had a number of successful recruits from colleges and universities in the Dayton area, so we made the city a target for expansion," Kerry Byrne, executive vice president at TQL said in a statement.

TQL grows organically by transferring experienced Logistics Account Executives to a new location in addition to hiring local sales talent to complete the team. The experienced TQL team then mentors new team members and helps instill TQL culture and corporate values. TQL is now seeking self-motivated employees to join this Dayton team. TQL claims to be a trusted and reliable freight brokerage firm serving the logistics industry and has been consistently recognized for this commitment. TQL was recently named a "Top Workplace" in Cincinnati. The company statement said that in the 13 years since its inception, it has grown to sales of $762 million in 2010 with projected sales of more than $900 million in 2011.

The company also said that it has added 1300+ employees and is planning to have ten satellite offices in cities across the country by the end of 2011. TQL facilitates more than 400,000 truckloads annually for more than 7,000 clients across the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

Earlier in February 2011, TQL announced that its TQL Freight Finder mobile phone application is now available for download from the Apple App Store for the Apple iPhone (News - Alert), iPad, and iPod touch. Less than two weeks ago TQL released TQL Freight Finder for use on the Android, but now this easy-to-use free download is available for Apple (News - Alert) products.
