Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards, established in 2007, acknowledges innovation by service providers and technology suppliers in the telecommunications industry. It honored Nokia (News

Nokia Siemens Networks had the dual satisfaction of being recognized in the ‘Wholesale Service Innovation-Managed Service Innovation’ category and also in the ‘Wireless Network Infrastructure Innovation-Mobile Cloud Platform Innovation’ category.
The cloud-based communication platform that won an award had a couple of features that were rather innovative. The new auto-polling features allowed participants to interact with event organizers, with each other, with visitors and provide feedback about the event. In addition, the 'mobile welcome and registration services' feature for a large number of participants at large events was a novel way to greet visitors. The best part was that all this didn't require investment in any hardware or software
“Nokia Siemens (News
