Pac-West Announces New Telastic PRIME Termination Offerings

Pac-West (News - Alert) Telecomm, Inc., a provider of advanced telecommunications services, has released Telastic PRIME, a new set of competitive termination offerings  driven by their Telastic Border Controller next-gen routing software.

“With a sharp increase in our retail-focused carrier customer base, we wanted to offer a termination product that provided unrivaled quality at a compelling price point,” said Jim Hensel, CEO of Pac-West, in a statement.

“With Telastic technology, we had a solution that could easily complement our own footprint with that of partners to create a very exciting set of termination offerings for the market,” added Hensel.

Officials with Pac-West said that these new termination offerings from the company were made possible by its recent migration from last-generation hardware to more sophisticated next-generation Telastic Border Controller next-gen routing software.

Company officials said that the embedded Telastic least-cost routing (LCR) platform gives Pac-West superior traffic management competence, including the ability to better forecast issues and route around them, which results in value and quality improvements for Pac-West termination customers.

“Telastic has taken us a leap forward in our routing versatility and control while giving us better tools to manage costs”, said R. Todd Wallace, chief operating officer of Pac-West.

“Telastic’s least-cost routing, profit protection, and dynamic policy-based route management means we can always ensure our customer routes are meeting the highest standards of quality while maintaining very attractive rates,” said Wallace.

TMCnet in February reported that Pac-West Telecomm announced that US Phone (News - Alert) has selected Telastic from Pac-West for its call center business.

US Phone is a communications provider based in California, serving customers worldwide through offices in Brazil and Columbia, distributing a suite of IP telephony software, solutions and applications.

Pac-West's Telastic on-demand telecom service set is delivered as fully managed services, self-managed services and infrastructure services. The set includes such telecom service components such as a feature-rich SBC, white-label VoIP and IP-PBX (News - Alert) services, certified third-party applications and telephony infrastructure as-a-service offerings.
