Cognizant to Participate at the Jefferies Global Technology, Internet, Media and Telecom Conference

Cognizant (News - Alert), a provider of information technology, consulting, and business process outsourcing services, revealed its plan to present at the Jefferies Global Technology (News - Alert), Internet, Media & Telecom Conference.

Jefferies Global Technology, Internet, Media & Telecom Conference is scheduled to take place from May 10-13 in New York City. This annual conference is said to highlight over 200 technology, Internet, media and telecom companies in a comprehensive format. The three-day event will feature concurrent tracks of over 200 presentations from leading US-based and international companies.

Cognizant said that Gordon Coburn, chief financial and operating officer, and Malcolm Frank, senior vice president of strategy and marketing, will be presenting at the conference. There will be a live audio webcast of the presentation available at Cognizant's website and a replay of the webcast will remain available on the company's website for 60 days.

Recently Cognizant reported Q1 EPS of $0.71, ex-items, ahead of consensus estimates of $0.63 per share. Revenues for the quarter were noted to have hiked 42.9 percent year-over-year to $1.37 billion, in line with consensus estimates of $1.37 billion. Also, back in January, TMCnet reported that Eli Lilly and Company, an innovation-driven pharmaceutical company, has selected Cognizant’s range of solutions to make its U.S. sales and marketing operations more effective.
