By Deepika MalaAlan Trefler (News - Alert), founder and CEO of Pegasystems, the major player in business process management solutions, will participate at two significant thought leadership events that are going to be held at MIT (News - Alert).
On Thursday, May 5, Trefler will speak at Mahindra Satyam's Customer Connect 2011, in a prominent session titled, "Emerging Business Models in a Connected World".
Mahindra Satyam is a premier global consulting and IT services provider and gold partner of Pega.
He will also speak on May 18, at MIT Sloan CIO Symposium at a panel titled, "New IT Innovation Models."
Pega has participated in several symposiums, now in its eighth year running, and this year, Trefler will join executives on the panel from Hewlett-Packard and Intuit (News - Alert), among others.
Customer Connect will take place at the MIT Media Lab, in Cambridge, Mass., with portions of the program taking place in other venues, while the symposium will be held at Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Kresge Auditorium, in Cambridge, Mass.

The presence of Pega at Customer Connect 2011, shows Pega's growing importance in the partner ecosystem. Since 2003, both Mahindra Satyam and Pega have had a strong partner relationship.
