True Textiles Elects Birst's Low-Cost, Highly Scalable Solution

True Textiles, the largest U.S. commercial contract manufacturer of interior fabrics, has selected Birst and its low-cost, highly scalable solution to replace a traditional, on-premise analytics application.

“We evaluated a huge host of BI products in search of a solution that would get more information to more people, faster and more affordably,” said Rick Cowan, CIO of True Textiles, in a statement. “Birst met all of those requirements and more. Unlike our previous solution, Birst is providing the functionality we need in a fast, easy-to-use, self-service solution that’s lightening the load on our IT department and delivering real value to our business.”

A major reason behind the selection of Birst’s app is its report automation and dashboarding capabilities, pixel-perfect reporting, excellent customer support, and overall low cost. The app provides fast and easy access to information related to sales performance and pipeline, orders, customer service levels, product performance, and production, thus enabling True Textiles employees to increase their productivity and make more informed decisions. The employees can also easily evaluate the effectiveness of new production practices in order to increase manufacturing efficiency.

“Companies using traditional, on-premise BI applications – with their cumbersome development processes and expensive licensing models – can’t expand their deployments without a Herculean effort and considerable financial investment,” said Brad Peters, CEO of Birst. “As a SaaS (News - Alert) solution, Birst is able to deliver enterprise-class functionality along with the technology and processes that ensure that businesses can easily extend their implementations without breaking the bank.”

Through its solutions, Birst accelerates business results by deploying fast, powerful, and agile business intelligence solutions for its customers.

Recently, Varolii, the market and technology leader in smart, automated communications, opted for Birst to provide more reliable reporting and analysis based on vast amounts of data generated by multiple applications.
