Ixia Launches Flexible Data Center Testing Solution

Ixia (News - Alert) has introduced simplified and flexible testing solutions that address the requirements of evolving enterprise data centers.

Ixia, a global provider of converged IP network test solutions, says that its newly released IxNetwork v6.00 test application introduces a new, intuitive graphical user interface (GUI), productivity tools, and automated test suites.

This release boasts a combination of higher-density and more flexible hardware. This combination, according to Ixia, can easily overcome enterprise testing barriers such as steep learning curves, insufficient test reproducibility, and poor return on investment (ROI).

The company claims that its IxNetwork test application is setting industry standards for out-of-the-box testing through simple traffic generation, fast network emulation, and user-friendly automation.

The Xcellon-Flex 10/40GE Accelerated Performance offers both 10GE SFP+ and 40GE QSFP+ ports in a single chassis slot.

Together, the IxNetwork and the Xcellon-Flex 10/40GE load module offer enterprises an excellent ROI. This combination uses both high port density and the ability to seamlessly transition from 10GE to 40GE interfaces as the data center scales and expands.
