Ingres Corporation, a provider of open source enterprise-grade database, announced its strategic relationship with Talend, an open source data management provider.
Talend has certified the connectivity of its open source data management solutions to VectorWise, offering data integration and data quality for database for business intelligence reporting and analytics to data management professionals.

The association between Talend and Ingres and the support for VectorWise is expected to enable IT and data management professionals to integrate data from all their enterprise systems. Customer can also provide their business users with access to this information faster and easier.

Recently, Ingres announced the launch of SkySafe, SkyInsight and SkyArchive managed services for application development, analysis and archiving. SkySafe enables Ingres to develop future services such as those that bridge private and public clouds and enable partners to add more services.
