By Jai C.S.IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), a provider of industrial computing solution, unveiled a 5.25” Single Board Computing (SBC) the NOVA-PV-D4251/D5251, featuring quad PCIe GbE for networking environment application.
As stated, the new NOVA-PV-D4251/D5251 is equipped with Intel (News
- Alert) Atom D425/D525 processor and is said to support 800 MHz DDR3 memory and an increased processor speed of 1.8 GHz, specifically designed for affordable, entry level computing.
In a press release, IEI revealed some of the key features of NOVA-PV-D4251/D5251, which includes ASF 2.0 support, TPM V1.2 hardware security functions, and UEFI BIOS architecture to support over 2.2 TB of HDD storage with a 64-bit operating system.
It also features quad PCIe GbE connectors for complex networking environment application. In addition, the NOVA-PV-D4251/D5251 is said to come complete with several I/O options including two SATA 3Gb/s and six RS-232 serial port connectors. Moreover, dual-display support is provided through VGA and 18-bit single-channel interface, supporting resolution up to WXGA 1366x768 or XGA 1024x768, or through 24-bit dual-channel LVDS interface, supporting resolution up to 1920x1080, for dual independent display. DVI-I interface supporting resolution up to 2560x1600.
IEI official clarified that all of its new Intel Atom D425/D525 SBCs include IEI’s unique One Key Recovery software solution.
The software is said to eliminate the frustration of system recovery after unexpected system failure. IEI is of the opinion that One Key Recovery is an easy way to create full system backup on demand and system restoration to a previously made backup with a single click.
