Bitzer Mobile Demonstrates Enterprise Mobility and Consumerization at CTIA

Bitzer Mobile Inc., a provider of infrastructure software for enterprises, presented at the AT&T open call contest held at CTIA Wireless 2011 in Orlando, FL.

Bitzer’s demo included tips on how enterprise CIOs and IT managers can isolate corporate data from personal data on employee-owned mobile devices and enable secure remote access of enterprise applications on the same devices using multi-platform native mobile apps.

Bitzer’s Enterprise Virtualized Mobility solution (EVM) for CIOs, IT professionals, and system integrators, is said to be a focused solution that can enable consumerization of the enterprise. As claimed by the company, this solution can isolate corporate data from personal data on employee owned mobile devices and enables secure remote access of enterprise applications on the same devices using multi-platform native mobile apps.

EVM is an open, standards-based technology that helps CIOs and IT managers quickly prototype, test, develop, deploy and support multi-platform native apps and consumerization using a single solution.

As stated by Bitzer, its Enterprise Virtual Mobility solution (EVM) consists of a “virtual container” that is deployed on mobile devices as a native app. This virtual container is controlled by the IT personnel in an enterprise to deliver the right data and access to the right mobile employee on a device of his or her choosing.

In a press release, Bitzer said that CIOs and IT professionals can evaluate Bitzer’s solution by downloading the Enterprise Virtual App Containers (EVC) from the iPhone App store, Android Market and BlackBerry (News - Alert) App World.

In yet another release, Bitzer announced its collaboration with Rave Infosys (News - Alert) to enable SugarCRM access on iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices. The Bitzer Mobile and Rave Infosys solution will be used by businesses using SugarCRM (News - Alert). As indicated in the release, Bitzer Mobile and Rave Infosys will demo the multiplatform access of SugarCRM at SugarCon 2011 in San Francisco from April 4 to April 6, 2011.

Earlier in January, 2011, TMC (News - Alert) reported on the announcement made by Bitzer launching its EVM solution. In the release, Ali Ahmed, chief technology officer and founder of Bitzer Mobile said, “Bitzer’s EVM will change the way businesses deploy applications on mobile devices. Our technology offers a unique solution for enterprises motivated to provide employees and partners with critical information at their finger tips on their personal devices.”
