Tangible Teams with UnboundID

Tangible, a provider of energy, security and consulting solutions to the public and private sectors, has joined hands with UnboundID to bring real-time identity management to government agencies.

Thanks to the pact, the agencies served by Tangible will now have access to a new class of identity technology from UnboundID.

“The identity infrastructures of the past decade were not designed to handle the enormous scale, performance, and identity unification needs of today’s complex distributed application environments,” said Tim Spear, CTO of Tangible, in a statement.

“But with technology from UnboundID, we can deliver a real-time identity layer to help agencies better serve the millions of people accessing their services through digital and mobile channels,”  Spear added.

“Tangible has built some of the most advanced security solutions in the world,” said Stephen Shoaff, co-founder and CEO of UnboundID.

“Working together, we can help enable agencies to build both public and private cloud applications that perform at scale and unify identity to ensure the integrity of their identity data,” said Shoaff.

UnboundID a privately-held company based in Austin, Texas is a provider of real-time identity management software for cloud, mobile and social applications.

TMCnet in January reported that UnboundID has unveiled the new version of its Identity Management platform, UnboundID 3.0 Suite, which offers real-time integrated identity layer, which is needed for high-volume apps and cloud environments.

The latest release is purported to be the only management platform that has been certified VMware Ready, and users can use the version to securely synchronize and integrate multiple identity data repositories in real-time, in order to satisfy high volume and mobile services requirements.

The Directory Services Suite available from the company consolidates the user identity data that applications need, while centralizing control and providing a smooth, positive customer experience.
