Revenue Performance Management (RPM) from Marketo is a strategy to optimize interactions with buyers across the revenue cycle to accelerate predictable revenue growth.
“Today’s announcement speaks to an important trend we are seeing amongst our enterprise accounts,” said George Jaquette, SVP of engineering at Marketo. “Increasingly, these organizations are turning to Marketo as their system of record for Revenue Performance Management, and are looking to bring more data from throughout the enterprise into the system. Marketo secured 9 new customers at corporations with revenue over $1 billion, and signed multiple million dollar deals in the fourth quarter of 2010 alone. According to the company, its customers are looking to inject the Marketo platform with more types of enterprise data as they increasingly rely on Marketo to drive their revenue machine, the company stated in a press release.
