Royal Wedding Album To Be Available on iTunes

As if there weren’t enough ways for you to access the lives of Prince William and Kate Middleton, with a newly launched official website, a Lifetime movie to be debuted about the union of the royal pair, and a Twitter following, the official ceremony will be recorded and released by Decca Records to online music retailers including iTunes.

In a move to cater to all devoted followers of the couple, the release of the wedding album itself will be issued in digital format, CD, vinyl, and cassette to ensure that no citizen of the Crown goes without experiencing the music of the magical event.

Produced by Anna Barry, a well known classical record producer, the wedding’s album includes a special collector’s booklet if ordered in physical format, and features music from The Choir of Westminster Abbey, The Chapel Royal Choir, The London Chamber Orchestra, and The Fanfare (News - Alert) Team from the Central Band of the Royal Air Force.

Barry stated, "This is a great honor and an enormous responsibility. The wedding means so much to millions of people all over the world – we have to capture every note and every nuance perfectly and have the recording ready within minutes of the end of the ceremony."

This is the first time in history that any ceremony of this magnitude has been recorded from beginning to end and released so suddenly to the rest of the world in digital format.
