IObit Unveils New Version of Smart Defrag 2, Disk Defragment Software

IObit, a supplier of system utilities and security software, announced the release of a new version of Smart Defrag 2, its free disk defragment software.

In a release Kevin Zhou, Marketing Director of IObit said, “You don’t need to pay a penny for keeping your disk running fast and stably. Just install Smart Defrag 2 and forget it, and simply your PC is running faster!”

This new version features an updated new user interface and is available equipped with a unique “boot-time defrag” feature and an enhanced defrag engine. All the features of the previous versions of the defragment software have been improved.

Smart Defrag 2’s “boot-time defrag” or “startup defrag” technology enables the defrag of files during the system boot process, as these files cannot be defragged or are not safe to move after the system is already boot-up. Pagefile, hibernation file, MFT and system files fall under this category, added company sources.

According to IObit officials the new defrag engine, Smart Defrag 2 features very fast defragmenting speeds and advanced defragmenting ability. The software works automatically and quietly in the background and hence, keeps the computer fragment-free always. It is most suitable for modern and large hard drives.
