HP Integrates 3PAR Utility Storage HP Converged Infrastructure

Looking to simplify scalable cloud computing for its clients, HP has integrated 3PAR Utility Storage across the HP Converged Infrastructure portfolio.

HP Converged Infrastructure helps companies to overcome the inflexibility and high costs created by IT sprawl to shift more resources to innovation and strategic initiatives.

To improve performance, and thin storage offerings to eliminate over-provisioning, clients can now use features like automated storage tiering and optimize cloud delivery. With converged block-and-file storage on a single storage array, this combination also helps clients seeking to consolidate storage hardware and respond to explosive data growth.

Clients can now reduce cloud application deployment time from days to minutes, improve operational efficiency of storage management tenfold and cut storage costs by up to 50 percent with the combination of 3PAR with HP CloudSystem.

Recently, Alpha Trading Systems, an alternative trading system for Canadian equity securities, selected HP to increase its performance and trading capacity. To support rising trade volumes, a growing marketplace and continuing demand for faster market data delivery and trade execution, Alpha wanted to inject greater performance into its system. The company implemented a new converged infrastructure with HP ProLiant servers to power its unique trading platform in collaboration with HP.
