Focused Labs to be Rebranded as GraphEffect

Focused Labs, a provider of social media marketing services, asserted that it intends to help increase brand ‘Likes’ on Facebook (News - Alert) and will be rebranding as GraphEffect.

The company admitted its participation in the Facebook Advertising API beta program and it can help agencies and brands leverage Facebook advertising get more “likes” and familiarize themselves with new markets and customers. The Facebook Ads API is available as part of a limited beta program and it lets users create and manage their own ads on Facebook programmatically, without using the Facebook Advertising Manager tool.

GraphEffect is purported to be the first social advertising platform specifically developed with a set of social performance algorithms to drive targeted Facebook ‘Likes’ and increase downstream conversions through the Facebook feed.

In the world of display advertising, GraphEffect has opinioned that companies have to look into various options to promote their products and it can help in finding the perfect users for brand’s or agency’s ads.

The company was co-founded by Southern California entrepreneurs Clark Landry and James Borow. It has now received $2 million in funding from investors who include CrossCut Ventures, Rincon Venture Partners, Founder Collective, Baroda Ventures, Lerer Ventures, Thrive Capital, and angel investors including Matt Coffin (founder of LowerMyBills) and Stephano Kim (President of x+1).

James Borow, who is now the CEO of GraphEffect, asserted that over the past year they have driven millions of new fans and customers for their clients. Their goal from day one has been to become the leaders in the social advertising space, and they are confident in their ability to achieve this with the help of their new partners.

Clark Landry, executive chairman of the company added that they are thrilled to have attracted capital from such a diverse and well-regarded syndicate of investors.

One of the investors CrossCut Ventures acknowledged that the team in GraphEffect has done an outstanding job of ramping up the business over the last 12 months by attracting some of the best brands and agencies to their unique suite of social media advertising tools. The new investors are very excited to work with GraphEffect on one of the most exciting growth opportunities in the social media ecosystem.
